Facebook launched its Events app on iOS back in October this year. And now, it appears that the app is finally ready to launch on Android.
According to a report by TechCrunch website, Facebook Events may launch on Android 'today' (i.e. December 13). At the time of the app's iOS launch, the company had said that it would be made available on Android 'soon'.
For those unaware, Events is a standalone application that deals with the Events section on Facebook. The app allows users to share plans for concerts, plays or any other type of events they are interested in attending.
The app shows events that users' Facebook friends are interested in and also the ones announced on the pages users like.
